Montgomery, Alabama Police Department 1861-1865.
The Montgomery, Alabama Police Department was run during the War, by :
1) City Marshall - Isaac Maxwell (born 1823) 2) Deputy City Marshall - Thomas Reed
The Police Department consisted of between 12 and 16 Officer's and fluctuated during the war.
