"My name is now, for the moment, Reinaldo Arenas. I am a Cuban Exile living in New York. Well, I write and survive. I am a person here called a Dissident, in every sense of the word. I am not Religious, I am a Homosexual and at the same time I am Anti-Castro. This means that I exemplify all the conditions, to never see a book published and to live outside the margins of every society, anywhere in the world" --
Reinaldo Arenas
