On December 22nd, 1799– Miguel Mendoza – A Soldier of the 7^th Company, 1^st Battalion, Fixed Regiment of Louisiana, on detached duty, from the Regiment of Cuba. A Native of Bayamo, Oriente, Cuba, son of Pedro Mendoza and Juana. Died at the Hospital in Mobile, Alabama without receiving last rites or writing a final testament.
