Our Camp works to preserve the History of Cubans, Hispanics and other Ethnic Minorities who served in the Confederate Military. Colonel - James Ebenezer McCord (born 1834 in South Carolina, died 1914 in Coleman, Texas). He was the son of William Pressly McCord and Lucinda Miller. James Ebenezer McCord married Sarah Elizabeth Mooney.
